Agni
god of fire and the sacrificial flame
TraditionVedic

Agni is fire itself, one of the most invoked deities of the Rigveda. As the sacrificial flame he is the messenger between people and gods, present at every hearth and every rite. He purifies, illuminates, and transforms whatever passes through him.
