Pluto was discovered in 1930 and reclassified a dwarf planet in 2006, though astrologers largely kept it. Modern astrology reads it as the principle of the underworld, of power, compulsion, death, and regeneration, the slow transformations that strip a thing to its core. Its long, uneven orbit makes it the most generational marker of the three moderns.
