The Eleventh House
The House of Friends and Hopes
The company of friends, and the good daimon walking beside the life.
The eleventh house is the Good Spirit, Agathos Daimon, the joy of Jupiter and the most fortunate of the non-angular places. It governs friends and allies, patrons and benefactors, hopes and their fulfillment, and the trust of those in power. The tradition counts what comes through this house as help freely given.
Jupiter here rejoices, surrounding the life with helpers and open doors.
Saturn here chooses few friends, but keeps them for life.
Mercury here gathers allies through letters, wit, and shared work.
Agathos Daimon in Greek. Jupiter's joy here sets the greater benefic in the day half of the sky, above the horizon, from which the house takes its generous character.
A house is personal. It exists only in a birth chart, cast from your own horizon at your own hour; the sky holds no eleventh house until someone is born under it. The kinship with Aquarius is an analogy of order, not an identity.
