One of the brightest stars in the northern sky and the leading light of the Charioteer, Capella is the little she-goat carried on the driver's shoulder, traditionally the goat Amalthea who suckled the infant Zeus. Robson gives it the nature of Mars and Mercury, bestowing honor, wealth and eminence together with a love of knowledge and inquiry. It is one of the fifteen Behenian fixed stars of the medieval talisman books.
