Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 29° Scorpio (tropical).
The corner beside which a hundred thousand suns hang like a lantern.
A corner of the Keystone, and the sky's signpost to something greater than itself. On the Keystone edge running down from Eta toward Zeta hangs the Great Cluster, M13, a globe of hundreds of thousands of ancient suns just at the edge of naked-eye sight on a dark night. Little traditional lore attaches to the star itself.
