Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 24° Gemini (tropical).

Mu Orionis sits at the crook of the raised arm, between the shoulder star Betelgeuse and the scattered stars of the club. It is a faint multiple star bound together by distance and gravity. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
