Mu Herculis

Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 26° Sagittarius (tropical).

A near neighbor on the hero's arm, a hearth fire not unlike our own.

Mu lies along the arm Hercules stretches toward the Lyre. It is one of the nearer naked-eye stars, a sun-like star only a little way down the road as the galaxy measures, which gives it a homely warmth the old books never noticed. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
