Kappa Pegasi

Kappa Pegasi

Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 6° Aries (tropical).

A dim point near the muzzle, along the reach toward the head.

Kappa Pegasi is a faint star set toward the head and muzzle of the horse, a small yellow-white light known only by its Bayer letter. No traditional name or delineation attaches to it, and its place is simply as one of the minor stars sketching the forward part of the figure.

Little traditional lore attaches to this star; its interest is its place in the figure.
