Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 24° Scorpio (tropical).

Sigma starts the second leg of the figure, running from the Keystone corner at Eta down through Tau. It is a blue-white star of modest brightness with no story of its own in the old books. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
