Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 3° Capricorn (tropical).

The reaching hand, opened toward the Lyre.

Omicron lies along the arm Hercules extends toward Vega and the Lyre, out past the shoulder star Sarin. It is a hot blue-white star that varies faintly, too subtly for the eye. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
