Omicron Tauri

Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 0° Gemini (tropical).

A star on the Bull's shoulder, at the western edge of the figure.

Omicron Tauri lies at the leading edge of the Bull toward the shoulder, among the stars that mark where the neck meets the body. It is an aging yellow giant, swollen and cooled from a hotter youth, seen at modest brightness. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
