The elbow, from the Arabic mirfaq al-thurayya. It stands at about 2° Gemini (tropical).

The bright heart of the hero, in the rich star-cloud of Perseus.

Alpha Persei is the luminous star at the hero's side, set in a scattered cluster of its own. Robson gives it the nature of Jupiter and Saturn.
