Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 2° Sagittarius (tropical).

One of the four stars of the Keystone, the compact quadrilateral that forms the kneeling hero's torso and the easiest handle on this sprawling constellation. To the telescope it is a fine close binary, two suns circling each other in a human generation. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
