Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 29° Scorpio (tropical).

Gamma runs along the hero's arm below Kornephoros, partway to the wrist star Maasym. It is a white giant softened by distance to modest brightness. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
