A name of uncertain origin, adopted in modern times. It stands at about 15° Sagittarius (tropical).

The second shoulder, squared beneath the burden without a story to its name.

Sarin marks the hero's other shoulder, opposite Kornephoros, with the head star Rasalgethi hung between them. The name is a modern adoption whose origin nobody has convincingly traced, one of the sky's small orphaned words. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
