Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 18° Capricorn (tropical).

Zeta joins Vega to the small parallelogram that draws the body of the Lyre, a hinge star between the light and the frame. A small telescope splits it into a wide, easy double. Little traditional lore attaches to this star.
