Unnamed, known by its Bayer letter. It stands at about 17° Capricorn (tropical).

Delta-2 Lyrae is a red giant at the northern corner of the little parallelogram that forms the body of the harp, the brighter of the Delta pair and faintly ruddy to the eye. It has no traditional name and scant lore. Its interest is its place in the frame.
