The third of the Gorgon stars, the Latin of the Medusa group.

One of the four Gorgon stars that make up Medusa's severed head with Algol.

Rho Persei is the third of the Gorgonea, the little group of stars that form the Gorgon's head around Algol. A red pulsating giant. Its lore is that of the head it helps compose rather than its own.
